Tips on Article Writing
1. Sign up for at least three article directories.
2. Read the Author Guidelines of every article directory that you plan to submit articles to as they all differ.
3. Use
keywords
search tools to identify a specific keyword or keyword phrase for your article that is high in demand.
4. Create keyword rich titles. Your title has to be creative and unique. Remember, it's the title of your article that gets you the click.
5. Aim for articles that contain between 250 and 750 words. Our inhouse research has shown that articles containing approximately 450 words tend to be the most popular.
6. Take keyword density into account in the main body of your article. For example, it would be good to use your specific keyword approximately 5 times in a 500 word article. Less than than that will not quite cut it with the search engines; more than that could be penalized for keyword stuffing.
7. Write an excellent
resource box.
Your resource box is more important than your whole article, because your resource box entices the reader to click through to your website - hence increased website traffic!
It is recommended that you provide two links in your author biography. One link is to a post of content on your website that is related to the article, but contain more detail than the article. Be sure to use anchor text.
The other link in your author biography goes to your home page, but with your site concept keyword as the anchor text.
